5-Seat Sectional Deep Clean in Atlanta — Heavy Soil Under the Cushions, Set-In Stains on the Seats
A grey fabric 5-seat sectional that had never been professionally cleaned. Crumbs, dust and debris had collected in the deck under every cushion, and the centre seat carried a large brown stain that had soaked through the weave. Cleaned in a single visit with hot water extraction.

The stain on the seat cushion
The centre cushion had a large brown stain spread across most of the seating surface — the kind that has been sat on repeatedly and worked deep into the fibre rather than sitting on top of it. Surface cleaners had already been tried on it, which usually makes the ring worse by pushing the soil outward. We pre-treated the whole panel, dwelled it, then extracted edge to edge so the cushion dried evenly instead of leaving a tide line.
What was under the cushions
This is the part nobody sees. With the cushions off, the deck was covered in crumbs, paper, dust and general debris that had worked its way down the back of the seats over years of use. On a sectional this size that is where most of the smell lives — food particles trapped in a warm, dark, closed space. Every panel was vacuumed out first, then the deck fabric itself was cleaned, not just the parts that show.
How this job was done
- Every cushion removed and the fabric checked for colourfastness in a hidden spot
- Full dry vacuum of the deck, seams and every panel — loose soil comes out dry, not wet
- Pre-treatment applied to the stained cushion and the high-traffic seats, left to dwell
- Hot water extraction across all five seats, backs, arms and the deck
- Extra dry passes over the treated cushion so it dried at the same rate as the rest
- Pile groomed and airflow advice given — usable again the same evening
Price for this job was $215, the published rate for a 5-seat couch. No surcharge for the stain and no surcharge for the deck — the number quoted on the phone is the number on the invoice. See the full price list.
Frequently asked
How much does it cost to clean a 5-seat sectional in Atlanta?
$215. That is the published flat rate for a 5-seat couch with Factory Fresh LLC, and it is the same in every city we serve. A 4-seat is $205, a 6-seat is $235.
Can a stain like this always be removed?
Most food, drink and body-oil stains come out with pre-treatment and extraction, as this one did. What does not come out is dye transfer, bleach damage and sun fade — those change the fibre itself. We tell you which one you have before starting, not after.
Do you clean under the cushions as well?
Yes, always. The deck under the cushions is included in the price. On most sectionals it is dirtier than the surface, and cleaning only what is visible leaves the smell behind.
How long before we can sit on it?
4–8 hours with good airflow. Open a window or run a fan and a sectional this size is usually ready by the evening.
